Electric music…

Da, wo abends noch Leben in der Stadt ist, gehört sie hin: Mitten auf die Aachener Straße. Eine Boombox. Mit Knöpfen. Aber leider kam nix raus, habe drauf gedrückt. Man kann ja mal hoffen… Trotzdem cooles Teil! Ich wünsche mir mehr solcher Stromkästen. Musik geht auch im Kopf. Und wenn, ja wenn das Ding doch was abspielen könnte… hier wären meine drei derzeitigen Favoriten:

There, where the city is still awake in the eve, is the best place for it: In the middle of Aachener Straße. A boombox. With buttons. But no sound, I tried. I was hoping… Anyway, amazing thing! The Weekend…

Haste keine Kohle, haste keine Zeit … und möchtest trotzdem irgendwie weg fahren, dann kommt hier der perfekte Wochenend-Auszeit-Tipp: Der Kalscheurer Weiher. Etwas versteckt und abseits kurz hinter Klettenberg erstreckt sich eine kleine Oase. Grüne Wiese, kühles, Bier, Bootsverleih und Callipo-Eis. Fast wie früher… und die Preise übrigens fast auch. Also Picknick-Decke gepackt und ab dafür. Wegbeschreibung gibt es hier, damit sich mir keiner verläuft…

No money, no time left … but despite that you wanna go for a trip, here’s the perfect weekend-away-advice: Kalscheurer Weiher. A bit hidden somewhere close to Klettenberg you’ll find a little oasis. Green grass, cold beer, boat rental and Callipo-Icecream. Just like back then … and the prices by the way as well. Get your picnic-blanket and here you go. It’s trash baby!

Manchmal lohnt sich der Besuch in einer anderen Stadt. Denn dort habe ich dies hier entdeckt: Wenn man für den alten Koffer nach der Urlaubszeit keine Verwendung mehr hat – nicht wegwerfen! Sondern damit das aufsammeln, was weggeworfen wird. Der Koffer als Mülleimer. Eine wundervolle Kleinigkeit. Ausgedacht von ein paar Künstlern in der Nähe des reinraum-Ausstellungsraums. Und ja ich geb es zu …  in Düsseldorf!

Sometimes it’s worth to visit another city. Because there I’ve found this: If you don’t use your old suitcase after holidaytime anymore – don’t throw it away! Just collect, what has been thrown away. A suitcase as a thrash-bin. A perfect Kleinigkeit. Invented by a group of artists close to the exhibition-room reinraum. And well, I confess … at Düsseldorf!
